Overview
TossVerse ("we", "us", or "the site") is a free entertainment tool that simulates tossing a coin to help you make a decision. This policy explains what information we handle and how. By using the site you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Very little. The question or note you type is sent to our AI service for two purposes: to decide whether it is a serious decision (so we can offer optional help) and, if you choose, to generate a decision summary. Free summaries do not store your question. If you purchase a report, your question is stored temporarily (30 days) together with your order so the report can be generated and delivered, and is then deleted automatically. Your question is never sold or used to build advertising profiles. We do not require an account.
If you purchase a paid decision report, we collect the email address you provide (used only to deliver your report and respond to support requests) and payment details, which are processed and stored by our payment provider, Waffo (acting as Merchant of Record). We never see or store your full card number.
Cookies and local storage
TossVerse is a static site. We do not run third-party advertising networks, so no advertising
cookies are set. To understand how the site is used and to improve it, we use
Google Analytics 4,
a privacy-friendly, first-party analytics service. Google Analytics sets a small number of
first-party cookies (such as _ga and _gid) that store a random,
non-identifying client identifier so we can count visits and measure traffic over time. We have
disabled Google's advertising personalization signals, so this data is used only in aggregate
and is not used to build advertising profiles or to target you with ads.
The only preference stored on your device is your chosen theme (dark or light), which lives in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.
You can opt out of Google Analytics at any time: install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or block first-party analytics cookies through your browser settings. Doing so does not affect how the site works.
Our web host may automatically record standard server logs (such as IP address and the page requested) for security and operational purposes. These logs are not used to identify you or to build advertising profiles.
Future changes to advertising
We do not currently serve third-party advertising. If we introduce advertising (such as Google AdSense) in the future, we will update this policy to describe the cookies and choices involved, and we will obtain any legally required consent before serving personalized ads. Until then, no advertising cookies are set.
Paid decision reports
When you purchase "The Other Side" report, payment is handled by Waffo, our Merchant of Record, under its own privacy terms. Your email address is used to deliver the report link and for customer support; it is not added to marketing lists. The report is generated by an AI system from your question and general decision frameworks, and the question may be passed through a content-safety screening as required for AI services. We keep minimal operational records (such as order IDs and report delivery status) for support and accounting.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — in particular if you are in the EU/EEA or the UK — you may have rights under data protection law, including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, to receive a copy of it in a portable format, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw any consent you have given. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@tossverse.com with "privacy" in the subject line; we respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
We process data on these legal bases: performance of a contract (delivering paid reports), legitimate interest (operating and improving the site), and consent where required (such as for cookies in jurisdictions that require it). Our web host and analytics provider may process data outside your country, including in the United States; where required by law, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
Children's privacy
TossVerse is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
